First Day of Class


 Classes start today. 


I'm taking online classes from SNHU. Nothing too special, but I'm excited nonetheless. 


I'm also incredibly overwhelmed. 


I took a look at the site (sites?) where everything is and I hope I have a good understanding of how it works. I gotta double check when everything is due.


Luckily, I was able to transfer 87 credits out of the required 120. I was surprised, as was my admissions counselor (agent?). 


I'm only taking the one class to start out: Mythology. The classes are only about 2 months long and I am only allowed to take up to 2 classes a session, but I'm not complaining. I work a full time job.


I was going to stream today (twitch.tv/i_am_wizoko) however, once I got home, I joined my girlfriend and her sister in cleaning the whole apartment to prepare for some lady to make an assessment to the landlord.


Fuck landlords


I'm hoping this cleaning will make this small apartment roomy enough to sneak my cat here. The landlord only allows one pet and we already have a very noisy cat named Harper.


My cat is Marcy and I miss her so much. 


Covid hit not long after my brother bought a house and moved his cat in. He wanted my cat to join to make his cat feel more comfortable. But they got stuck there during Covid while I somehow ended up living with my girlfriend. My cat is my spirit animal and how I adopted her is one of my favorite stories. Well, she adopted me. But that's a story for another time.


I'm getting off track again. The point of this is to say: I started class and I am incredibly overwhelmed. I will start streaming  video blog entries. It'll be interesting cuz, those watching are more than welcome to be part of it. Like a conversation.

  I don't even remember how long it's been since my last post. I had one drafted out that I never finished. Everything just got in the way. I guess I will catch us up to speed. If I recall, I last left off at our search for a new house. We ended up getting a bid accepted for a home not too far from where we were living before. When looking at the house the first time, it was raining and we saw a white cat taking shelter under the houses overhang. We almost took it as a sign that this was gonna be our house. When we met with the previous homeowners, they told us that there are a few cats around that were left behind by other neighbors when they moved away and they've been feeding them. Recommendations Part 4: Those that All Should Play

  Nearly every gamer has a list of games they think are the best and that everyone should play. This isn't a list of the best games, or my favorite games. They're games that I think everyone should play at some point. They're games that can help a gamer understand what makes a good game, the development process of a game or understand the history of modern games to appreciate what they have more and understand that there is more to understand and learn about game design. This list is to also explain to a non gamer what a game is and how it isn't all "Rooty Tooty McShooty" or waste of time repetitive violence fests and are instead an art form that stimulates more than just the eyes and ears. The Fool

 What can be said about The Fool? Numbered zero in the deck, it stands for new beginnings. The young chimney sweep in this card denotes childlike awe and inspiration. Not bogged down by society and not aware of society's true expectations of him. He stands on the roof, in unsullied clothes, above the toil that others deal with and is prepared to begin his journey of life. The sunrise in the background adds to this new beginning. The original card is often depicted similarly: a young character carrying a rucksack on a stick, standing on the precipice, about to leap down into the world below, accompanied by a white dog as their guiding light. Often showing clean or pure imagery such as the white flower and clean clothes, the card pushes the idea of "new." This was my card for March.
