The Glass Wall

 A blank mind

An active screen

draws the attention

of my withering dream


Glass walls 

that don't exist

fill me with fear

and pejorative bliss


Caked with 

prints and grime

past attempts

and so much lost time


Screams can be heard

but only by me

a glass wall

I cannot see

Back Home

 After another long drive, I return home. I would have wrote these past couple days, but I forgot. I am stressed over the paper I need to submit on Sunday and I feel like I don't grasp entirely what I have to do. I did not get around to reading Hero of a Thousand Faces like I hoped. It would have helped my paper. Perhaps I could listen to a rundown of it today sometime.  My computer keeps showing signs of slowing down. It froze during my stream on Tuesday. I had 3 watchers too. Death

                                                When one sees the card Death, they often assume it's a negative card. One that is a harbinger of death itself. However, it actually means change. This change can come in multiple forms from taking on a new job, changing your lifestyle, moving, or even, yes, death. It's a card that stands for endings and beginnings or, more accurately, rebirth.      This is a card that would also have made sense for last month for actual death did occur in my life, which caused a bit of a spiral for me and did change a lot of how I go about my day to day. I think I'm through the worst of the mourning process, however I tear up a bit, even as I write this. Recommendations Part 1: Narrative.

      People like lists. Part of the success of clickbait articles is the fact they're lists of some sort with a fuck ton of advertisements strewn about while they drag out the content onto multiple pages to milk ad revenue for as much as they possibly can. It's an annoying business model but you really want to know why number 3 will shock you.  I prefer lists that just have everything right there. Maybe a short description underneath each entry.       I often like to think about top 10 lists of things. But sometimes I get caught up on overly complicated nuances and don't like to leave things out. Like I have a list of favorite shows, but I have a separate list of favorite anime. But that list of anime may or may not take into account the manga.
